My Memories of Maggie on a Day in May 2014

Maggie's Angels is my passion, my purpose my life.

To me, it is exhilarating, energizing and inspiring.

My daughter, Maggie, taught me this with the way she lived her life, with the way she faced her cancer, with the way she faced her death….

She taught me courage. She taught me to see the beauty in every person you meet. She taught me to see the possibilities in every situation you are faced with. She taught me to “love your neighbor”, she taught me to give back…

“Yes”, I still miss her everyday. Some days are easier than others….some days I look at the picture of she and Caine, on my kitchen counter, on the “Kiss Cam” at the Brewer’s game, and my eyes well up in tears. Other days I stop in my bedroom and look at the picture from our last family vacation in Cancun and I smile! She really was a beautiful, young woman – inside and out.

It’s comforting, in a way, how I’ve come to not only appreciate, but accept the life God has so carefully planned for me…

No time, no distance, no one, can ever steal a mother’s love for her child. It is a beautiful bond…placed there by God to withstand any storm this mortal life can place in our path. :)

Maggie,

I will love you forever and always.
