I am taking a moment to hold the hearts of David & Barb Bye as they celebrate Maggie's birthday (Jan 7th), an inspiring young woman who lose her life to cancer at 15 years old. I had the great honor of meeting this lovely couple at a poetry reading I did for 'Wishing on a Runway' back in November 2014. This was a great event organized by UW-Madison School of Human Ecology and Wisconsin BBA Student Government where proceeds went to support Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. Today, my wish for you, David & Barb is that you always remember Maggie's bright beautiful smile & big heart and may you live to honor her spirit the rest of your lives.
